Populating a Dropdown Box with File Lookup Values

During the process of creating a new question or editing a question you can choose an Answer Type of “Dropdown Box”(from File Lookup).

You must choose the name of the lookup file you wish to use in the question editing window.

Note: Only the first column from a lookup table is used to populate the dropdown lists' answers.

Note: You can also use File Lookup Tables in ratings - please see the ratings section for more details.

  1. Log in to SchemeServe
  2. Follow the process for Adding or Editing a Question
  3. Change the Answer Type to "Dropdown Box (from File Lookup)"
  4. Select the File Lookup Table from the File Lookups Dropdown Menu
