How to Insert an Image into a Scheme Serve Web Page

Introduction

Creating and amending text based web pages is very simple in SchemeServe, so is adding images to that text to make the end result more visually appealing.

There are two ways to add images to your web pages, the first is adding images from your computer or company server system. The second is adding an image that you have already uploaded to SchemeServe. You'll find full instructions and a video tutorial below.


To insert an image from your computer/server

  1. Log in to SchemeServe
  2. Click on the “My Hompage” Link
  3. Navigate to the web page you want to edit
  4. Click on the Edit Button
  5. Click the Insert/Edit Image Button (it has a yellow background with two mountains and a sun on it)
  6. Click the Upload Tab
  7. Click the Choose File Button and select your image from your hard drive or server
  8. Click the Send it to the Server Button
  9. Click OK when the Image is uploaded
  10. Click OK again to close the Image Properties Box
  11. Your image is now inserted into the web page
  12. Click the save button to save the changes you have made


To insert an image already uploaded to SchemeServe

  1. Log in to SchemeServe
  2. Click on the “My Hompage” Link
  3. Navigate to the web page you want to edit
  4. Click on the Edit Button
  5. Click the Insert/Edit Image Button (it has a yellow background with two mountains and a sun on it)
  6. Click the Browse Server option
  7. Click on the Folder you wish to browse
  8. Click on the Image you want to use
  9. Click OK
  10. Click the save button to save the changes you have made
